Preferences
Every setting on the dashboard Preferences page: notifications, auto-apply, unit system, decimal places, default model, early access builds, and zero data retention.
Notifications
- Desktop notifications. Notifies you when the agent finishes or needs attention. Useful once you start running batches that take longer than your patience.
- Completion sound. Plays a sound when the agent finishes responding.
- Keep the SOLIDWORKS save reminder. The add-in turns SOLIDWORKS’ save reminder off for the session when auto-save is on. Turn this on to keep the reminder.
Agent
- Auto-apply agent changes. Applies proposed model changes without pausing for review. Off by default, and off is the right setting until you know how a phrasing behaves.
- Units. The unit system the agent designs and answers in: millimetres or inches.
- Decimal places. The precision the agent uses when it sets a dimension, from 0 to 4.
- Model. The default model used on devices where you have not picked one in the plugin.
Updates
Early access builds opts you into pre-release plugin updates. They may be less stable than the default channel.
Privacy
Don’t store my data processes your designs, prompts, and files only to answer the request in front of it and keeps none of them on CADABRA’s servers. It is also what excludes your content from being used to improve and train the models, which is on by default on Free, Student, and Professional.
It also switches off cloud chat history and cross-device recall.
Data handling has the detail, including what is kept regardless.
